Should I Get A Stop Divorce Book or Get A Marriage Counseling To Stop My Divorce?

In this trying times, it’s normal for you to ask “should I read a stop divorce book or get a marriage counseling” to prevent divorce from taking place. It’s really hard to spend your money on things you could hardly see the results.

You would not want to just to trust a piece of advice that scatters around the web. At the same time you want something that won’t dig your piggy bank so much. What you are looking for perhaps something of worth spending on to save your marriage.

Lets take a look what counseling would cost compare to e-books.

Marriage Counselors Costs

Cost varies widely among marriage counselors.. Rates can go from about to 0 per hour, but many therapists offer sliding scale fees based on income, while some accept insurance and some do not.

The average cost for marriage and family counseling is about per session. Since most marriage counselors see couples one session a week for the first three months, you can expect to pay about 00 in that period of time if it’s at about 0/hr.

But some counseling can continue weekly for as long as two years before the problems have been resolved. That would cost a couple a whooping ,000 over two years.

While it may seem like a fortune, the cost of divorce is often many times that figure.

What About E-books?

The official stance by the psychotherapy community is still in question in regards to the efficacy or non-efficacy of online counseling.

However the low costs involved in e-books often a major decisive factor for people getting a stop divorce book. Some may cost as low as . Another contributing factor is that couples doesn’t have to schedule or re-schedule a meeting with counselors. Which then saves time and cost efficient.

Because online counseling or e-books is a relatively new form of therapy, regulations have yet to be established. The International Society for Mental Health Online has published ethical guidelines to assist professionals in the development of ethical e-counseling practices.

Does Marriage Counseling Work?

In an article published by Journal of Marital and Family Therapy, couples and family from 15 different states reported on their experience with counseling both online or offline.

Specifically, of clients from 526 marriage and family counselors in 15 different states, 98.1% rated services good or excellent. A majority of clients reported an improvement in their functioning at work, and over three-fourths of those receiving marital/couples or family therapy reported an improvement in the couple relationship.

It doesn’t state clearly to how much extend a real world counseling would triumph over e-books.

Both of these have my highest recommendation because they are very effective. To help put the cost of marriage counseling in perspective, there’s nothing you can buy for ,000 that will give you the same quality of life that a healthy marriage provides.

If you and your spouse love each other and meet each other’s important emotional needs, you’ll be able to do without many other things and still be happier in the end. Besides, I’ve found that people seem to earn more and save more after their marital problems are solved. The money you spend to resolve your marital problems is money well spent.

The best advice?…just a reminder, do not commit yourself to counseling or buy an e-book if you think it will solve your problems instantly. There’s always a learning curve for couples.

If it is important to you to revive your relationship…before you take any further actions please READ THIS.

Panic Attack Sufferers Find Cure with the One Move Technique

Panic Attacks Cures offers the One Move Technique, which provides a cure for many who suffer from emotionally debilitating panic attacks. Panic Attacks Cures is a member of the International Society for Mental Health Online and understands the urgent need for a cure.

Miami, FL (PRWeb) June 2009 – Panic Attacks Cures is excited to share the One Move Technique with the millions of people worldwide who suffer from emotionally debilitating panic attacks. The One Move Technique is one of the few methods that have provided a cure to thousands of people inflicted with the condition. Panic Attacks Cures was created to help provide relief to those who live in fear of experiencing another panic attack.

The National Institutes of Mental Health estimate that approximately 5% of adults in the US suffer from panic attacks on a regular basis. This means that a staggering four million American adults suffer from panic attacks.

When a person experiences a panic attack for the first time it can be incredibly overwhelming. The sufferer often feels as though they are having a heart attack and as a result, some 95% end up in the emergency room. The condition is often exacerbated by the realization that it was a panic attack.

This unexpected news leaves the individual with a great sense of dread. They live in fear of experiencing another panic attack. As a coping mechanism, many retreat to their homes and rarely venture out of their ‘safe zone.’

Joe Barry, a fellow panic attack sufferer, conceived the One Move Technique and remains one of the few methods providing a cure for thousands of panic attack sufferers. During a panic attack, the midbrain is highly active while the forebrain is nearly inactive. This combination leaves people feeling overwhelmed by fear and they begin to panic.

Panic Attacks Cures backs the One Move Technique, which teaches those suffering from panic attacks how to increase activity in the forebrain and reduce activity in the midbrain. This method effectively eliminates the panic and restores a sense of calm. To learn more go to http://www.panicattackscures.com/panic-away-review/.

Family and marriage therapy as a discipline includes graduate and post graduate programs: masters degree (2-3 years),  post-graduate clinical training programs (3-4 years) or doctoral program (3-5 years).

A few words about family counseling online. This question is still opened and has many aspects to discuss. This is because online counseling is a relatively new form of therapy and the regulations have yet to be established. However the International Society for Mental Health Online has already published ethical guidelines to assist professionals in the development of ethical  online counseling practices.

Marriage and Family Therapists (MFTs) are trained in psychotherapy and family systems (2 years of clinical experience is required) and have masters degree in family psychology. MFTs are licensed to diagnose and treat mental and emotional disorders within the context of marriage, couples and family systems. In the center of the therapy is a family.

Marriage and family therapy is a short-term therapy. Usually it consists of 12 sessions. And quite often it includes one-on-one as well as a family therapy. As for the fee, family and marriage therapy and counseling costs can vary from about to 0 per hour. Average cost is approximately 0 per session.

And now a couple words about how to choose a family and marriage counselor. You can consult the internet but you can also ask your friends and family. Most therapists will have a brief phone consultation with you. They will answer all your questions. And after this phone consultation you can decide whether you and the marriage counselor might work well together.
